Jan 26 – Belly Dance with Safire – 7-9pm – REGISTER
Safire Belly Dancers, known for their showstopping performances at Untitled, The Drifter, Big Sexy Show, Juliana and beyond, brings monthly workshops to Studio L’amour with an emphasis on the art of raks sharqi, or “belly dance.”
Safire’s workshops will provide history, technique and choreography that can be suited to enhance your personal life or to further your career in dance. These workshops also provide a great workout, all while having fun and making new friends!
This month, Vanessa of Safire, aka the Queen of Shimmy, will be focusing on hip and arm techniques suited for an opening performance (a mejance). Join us!

Feb 6 – Sensual Movement with Michelle L’amour – 8:30-9:30 – REGISTER
Indulge in this sensual movement class done all in candlelight. Nothing is sexier than candlelight! Michelle L’amour will lead you in movements that are slow, sensual and ultra feminine. There is no choreography to learn, just an opportunity to get lost in the moment. This class will leave you calm and high on sensuality.
This is a monthly class and is scheduled on Mondays nearest the Full Moon. No experience necessary. REGISTER
Feb 11 – Be Mine Workshop – 12-1:30 – REGISTER
Flowers, and chocolates and you…. oh my! It’s the perfect addition to your Valentine’s Day celebration….an even sexier you! Join Lady Ginger at Studio L’amour on February 11 for our annual Be Mine Valentine’s Day workshop. In this workshop you’ll learn an entire routine, using a robe, a bra, and a chair. We’ll supply the chair but please bring your own robe and bra. One afternoon, and you’ll have a gift that you can give year round! – REGISTER

Want to see what we’ve been doing at Studio L’amour? Check out our fabulous students as they showcase their newest talents! This is a fun, supportive and safe environment for students and any performer that may want to try something new. Students from all classes will be performing, as will those that have developed new acts in the Act Development class, and you might just see one of the teachers perform too!
