Naked Girls Reading – March 12
Help us celebrate our one year anniversary on March 12. Reading an Olde Tyme Radio Show this month will beMichelle L’amour, Dominique Trixx, Mimi First, Deirdre Doll, and Greta Layne. We also have a special guest, Alan Gresik, Chicago’s favorite jazz pianist. Tickets are available now!
Fan Dance Workshops:
Join Michelle L’amour on April 18th for one of her much sought after Fan Dance workshops. She has taught these workshops (and sold her instructional DVD’s) all over the world and now you can learn from the best. Whether you are a complete beginner or you have some fan skills already, there is a workshop for you.
April 18th
Noon-1:30pm – BEGINNER FAN DANCE
2:00pm-3:30pm – INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED FAN DANCE
Cost: $35 (if you already own fans or plan to purchase them), $45 (if you need to borrow fans)

Dr. Sketchy’s Chicago presents…

Modeling this session will be Michelle L’amour and Greta Layne.
Dr. Sketchy’s is what happens when cabaret meets art school. It’s the little Brooklyn event that became a movement. Founded in 2005 by artist Molly Crabapple, Dr. Sketchy’s asked a simple question. Why can’t drawing naked people be sexy?
Here’s our attempt at an answer.
We combed Chicago (we didn’t have to look far) to find the most beautiful burlesque dancers, the most bizarre circus freaks, and the most rippling hunks of man. Then, once a month, we let you draw them for three hours. Interspersed with posing are comedy skits and ridiculous drawing contests (best left handed drawing? Best incorporation of a woodland animal?) where you can win booze or prizes.

*A very limited amount of art supplies will be provided. Please bring whatever you wish to draw/paint/sculpt with or on. No photography allowed (save our in-house shooter – PEZ).
