Naked Girls Reading celebrates its one year anniversary on March 12, 7-10pm. The girls will be reading an old tyme radio show – LIVE – with special guest, Alan Gresik on piano. We will also be making a big announcement that you won’t want to miss! Advance registration is recommended.

Spring Session

The new spring session begins on March 1. Registration is available for all classes. The focus for the beg/int classes are panel skirts and floor work. The Burlesque Fusion, Mon. beg/int, Tues. beg/int, and Thurs. beg/int classes are sold out! There is more availability for all the basic classes.

And for our Salon Series…

The Bordello Artist series returns on March 2, 9, 16, and 23 with models Michelle L’amour and Greta Layne. You can add this to your class registration for $30 or if you are not a current student, the price is $60. In this series, the artist will be able to work on a piece for 4 weeks as the models will do the same ending pose each week. There is also an option to show your work at a Naked Girls Reading event.

The Salon series beginning March 30 will be discussing the virtues of unvirtuous women. More details coming soon!

Naughty Gras!

The new Spring Session begins March 1st. We are now taking registration for classes.

Our next Dr. Sketchy’s event is Feb. 21. We’ll be celebrating Naughty Gras!

Kami Oh! will be modeling and Lady Ginger will be doing a special Mardi Gras performance. Bring your pads and pencils and get ready to draw!

Also, many thanks to all those that came to Belles and Whistles. We couldn’t have done it without such a great audience!

Register now for Trixie Little and The Evil Hate Monkey’s workshop on Feb. 12, 7-9pm. In this amazing class, Trixie and Monkey have combined their training in physical theater, clowning and burlesque to lead a structured playtime for the purpose of discovering new ideas, taking risks, playing, increasing connection to an audience, letting go of self-consciousness while improvising, thinking on your feet and utilizing your whole body. Perfect for burlesque performers, actors and actress, clowns, circus folk and anyone who just wants to learn how to have a new kind of fun.

After learning from these characters, come and see them perform at Belles and Whistles!

Michelle L’amour and the Chicago Starlets will be premiering new acts and featuring special guests Yuri Lane, Oona Tramps, Trixie Little and The Evil Hate Monkey, and the Stage Door Johnnies! All hosted by the lovely Nadine Dubois! There are two shows on Feb. 13 at 7pm and 9:30pm at the Music Box Theater. See what you’ve been learning in class put into action. Impress your friends and lovers by taking in some Belles and Whistles!
