Sounds optimistic right? Spring? Well, it’s coming and thank goodness! We begin our new Spring session the week of March 5th. For our spring specialty class on Mondays at 6:15, we are offering an 8 week Music Theory for Burlesque Dancers class. This class will be taught by Michelle L’amour, Ben Tatar (leader of L’amourchestra at Speakeasy Sundays) and Franky Vivid. You will learn musicality, phrasing, how to LISTEN to music. This will aid in your choreography and also improve your ability to improvise with a band. You will have a chance to dance with a live band in this class. This is very exciting and something we’ve always wanted to do! It is required that you have taken at least one beg/int session before taking this class.
